Tamaki Suoh: Introduction
Tamaki Suoh, whose Japanese full name is Suō Tamaki, and he is one of the main characters of the anime series and manga, which is Ouran High School Host Club. Suoh is one of the founder and president of the Ouran High School Host Club.
Tamaki was voiced by the Mamoru Miyano in the Japanese version of the anime series, and by the Vic Mignogna in the English version of the anime series, both of whom also voice the Zero Kiryu and the Rin Matsuoka.

Tamaki Suoh is a teenager who has a tall and slender build body. Being half of the Japanese and half of the French man, Tamaki has a pale-blonde coloured hair, which he gets inherited from his mother. In the anime series, he has violet-coloured eyes, while in the manga series of that, they’re blue in colour. These features come together to give him a very princely overall look, which makes him very famous with the Host Club’s female guests, to that extent that he has a 70% request rate among all of them.
He also very quickly enjoys the cosplaying with the other members of the club and sometime wears a white rose, which is in Japanese culture, signifies the innocence (which is too appropriately, considering his all general naivete), and in the Western culture, it is a symbolic of happiness in love (which is more ironic, and also considering his denseness towards his own feelings for the Haruhi).
Personality
Tamaki is well credited as the co-founder and president of the Host Club. Although, Tamaki’s outward manner and sense would be best to described as the flamboyant, egotistical, and dramatic he is in real, in fact, he is a young man who is truly dedicated to his studies, his friends, and his duties as a host president.
Tamaki Suoh is considered the “Princely” type, who is always entertaining his female clients with the upper-class etiquette, classiness, and shameless flattery. He always perceived the host club as his “family” with himself as the father, Kyoya Ootari and as the mother, Haruhi Fujioka as the daughter, Hikaru Hitachiin.
As he is the main comic relief character of the anima and manga series, Tamaki is characterised as very outspoken and naive for his age. Throughout the anime series and manga series, his overall facial expressions are the too much exaggerated. While celebrating the romance in general, he is too quiet blind to his own feelings of the romantic love and feelings towards Haruhi, of which the other Hosts members are completely aware of.
Among all the Hosts, Tamaki’s “host” personality differs the most from his real personality insofar that he is both the charming and the poised as a Host, but sometime bumbling and the attention-seeking outside of that milieu. Tamaki wish to please the Host Club’s female guests, in fact, he is genuine to the point that he always rejects and denies to himself and everyone else his love for Haruhi in order to keep the Host Club up and running in great manner.
